Originally from Chicago, Illinois, when I was 10 years old my family moved to small town Sugar Camp, WI, where I eventually met and married my husband, Mark. We were both hired by the School District of Lodi and we couldn’t be more proud of the district we work and live in. We have two daughters, Greta and Alice, three furry friends, Annabelle, Brock, and Clyde and five feathered chickens that keep our dogs’ curiosity peeked.
I attended UW-Stevens Point and earned my degree in Elementary Education with minors in Learning and Cognitive Disabilities. Once I began teaching I discovered a drive to help students become successful readers and earned my graduate degree in Reading through Concordia University.
I’m proud to have been a part of starting our amazing school, the Ouisconsing School of Collaboration! Everyday I look forward to coming to school and being with our students. I enjoy watching them grow and discover that they truly are in control of their learning and successes while at school, at home, and while out in their community!
